About me
Since retiring

Voluntary Redundancy in 2007 has given me the opportunity of going 'back to the drawing board'; returning to basics has been a real challenge and I am enjoying just drawing and painting again instead of staring at a computer screen all day.In my painting, responding to the landscape is inevitable, but I also enjoy the unexpected beauty of the commonplace and ‘everyday’.
I try and do some art work everyday and have gone back to always carrying a sketch book with me. I attend a studio session once a week and enjoy life drawing as often as I can.
My 'studio' is a garden summerhouse which I can lock from the inside-at last a 'Room of my Own'.
I am a keen photographer embracing the ‘digital age’ with enthusiasm. I produce some Giclee prints and cards.
