For this exhibition, I listened to Jazz and connected the way musicians improvise, with the methodology I was using for my screenprinting process. Taking similar shapes from drawings, I overprinted each image, responding in an intuitive way to each individual piece, using the same repetitive motifs in various combinations. I was also interested in using different surfaces which led to many of the prints being reproduced on plywood, a surface I liked for the unexpected variations of texture it retained.
